Amir Niazi, Ph.D., P.Eng., is a senior hydrogeological and water resources consultant with 20 years of academic and industry experience. He specializes in hydrogeological site characterization, aquifer testing, water resources development, and numerical groundwater flow and contaminant transport modeling.

Amir applies modeling expertise to address groundwater contamination, groundwater-surface water interactions, aquifer sustainability, dewatering, environmental impacts, mine water management, landfill performance, and remedial design across international and North American projects.

His experience spans mining feasibility studies, closure planning, infrastructure, and energy sectors. Amir develops models for mine water quantity and quality forecasting and contributes to resource estimation using geostatistical analysis, delivering integrated water management solutions for complex projects.
