Nader Nakhaei, PhD, EMBA, P.Eng., brings over 16 years of specialized expertise in water resources engineering across infrastructure, utilities, mining, oil and gas, and land development projects throughout North America, Europe, and the Middle East. His comprehensive understanding of municipal, provincial, and federal environmental regulations stems from his direct experience working with regulatory bodies, including Ontario Conservation Authorities and Environment Canada.
Nader is a recognized expert in hydraulics, hydraulic structure design, hydrology, and hydrodynamic and water quality modeling for diverse water systems including ponds, reservoirs, lakes, and rivers. His project portfolio spans complex mining applications such as water balance assessments, containment works design, dam breach analyses, and safety evaluations, as well as municipal initiatives including stormwater management and flood plain mapping.
With proven leadership in engineering design management, Nader oversees the full project lifecycle from design basis development through specifications for civil and hydrotechnical works. His multidisciplinary approach ensures seamless integration of technical, construction, and operational considerations across complex water resources projects.
