Environmental Journal Recognizes Firms for Business Achievement in Growth, M&A, Technology and Innovation
San Diego, Calif. (February 2022) — Environmental Business Journal®* (EBJ), a business research publication which provides high value strategic business intelligence to the environmental industry*, has honored Ensero Solutions Inc. along with joint venture (JV) partner JDS Energy & Mining with a Business Achievement Award for Project Merit: Mine Remediation in 2021.

The joint venture was recognized for the advancement and achievement of key milestones in the remediation of the abandoned Mount Nansen Mine Site, a former gold and silver mine located near Carmacks, Yukon Canada. These achievements included:
The Preliminary Design Remediation Plan was reviewed by the Government of Canada and the Little Salmon Carmacks First Nation (LSCFN) and received acceptance to proceed to the detailed design.
Approval of a Type B Water Use Licence from the Yukon Water Board, which will allow Ensero to finish the construction of a water treatment plant by February 2022.
Vesting approval received from Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada and the receiver PricewaterhouseCoopers, allowing the JV to take ownership of the site.
The 2021 EBJ awards will be presented live and in-person at the EBJ Business Achievement Awards banquet at Environmental Industry Summit XX on March 16-18, 2022 in San Diego. Environmental Industry Summit XX will be EBI’s first in-person meeting of the environmental industry since 2019.
