Jim Harrington is CEO of Ensero Solutions, providing technical management of Ensero services, and part of the management team leading Ensero’s operations in Canada and the United States. He provides technical expertise in the environmental science and engineering fields for clients with whom he has maintained long-term relationships. He consults in the areas of environmental project management, permitting, first nation, regulatory, and stakeholder relationships. He has expertise in the application of cutting-edge technologies to enhance the performance of complex, high profile permitting and remediation projects.
Janet Peters is our interim Chief Sales Officer and a member of our Advisory Board at Ensero. Janet has over 30 years of experience in the engineering and environmental consulting industry ranging from Project and Client management to Business Unit and Operational Leadership and Board positions. She recently has been a free-lance consultant working on a variety of M&A projects for industry and financial clients and providing strategic support in a variety of Board positions. Most recently (2001 through 2015), she was part of a Sr. Leadership team in an international firm holding a variety of key positions. Her operational responsibilities have included developing short- and long-term business plans; development of strategies for accelerated growth; ensuring teams meet net revenue and profitability goals; and providing guidance, mentoring, staff engagement and leadership.
John Walker is our Chief Financial Officer at Ensero. John has over 25 years of domestic and international finance and accounting experience and is a creative problem solver adept at identifying the root cause and developing corrective actions. John brings a unique blend of finance and accounting consulting and environmental engineering industry experience. His extensive experience includes ensuring compliance with revenue recognition policies and procedures while maximizing revenue and reducing costs. He provides strategic financial oversight and direction while working closely with Operational Leads to achieve financial goals.
Sheri Shoemaker is our Chief of Staff at Ensero. Sheri has over 30 years of experience in business operations, including leadership, administration / management, G&A management, human resources support, business planning, business process improvements and business operations. She has led teams of administrative and project administrative professionals, including professional development, resource management, training, and direct line supervision. She has supported President, Director and Board level teams with a high level of confidentiality and service. She is a performance driven individual, helping to maintain and deliver high level performance and results.
Paul Barnes is our Chief Operating Officer at Ensero. Paul is also a site remediation expert with more than 28 years of environmental management, consulting, and technology development experience. He has held positions in technical, program management, and operational leadership. He has a balanced leadership skill set well suited to the management in a growing consulting operation. As a technical professional he has specialized in the development of accelerated closure strategies for complex sites and the management of the associated financial and performance risks. As a manager his experience is diverse, including management of the technical services division of a national drilling and remediation field services business, operations management of a geographic region of 5 states with 200+ consultants in a multinational corporation, director of a large/strategic pursuits program, leadership of a regional technical center, and program management of site closure programs as large as $75M.

Vanessa Friesen is a member of our Senior Leadership Team at Ensero and provides technical operations management for teams and projects in Canada. She consults as a scientific lead or collaborator on projects that involve biological water treatment and industrial and environmental microbiology. She also manages our Saskatoon Operations which hold water treatment piloting and microbiology testing facilities. Dr. Friesen has also led an internal technology development team, guiding the development of the first independent company in North America to provide contract genomic microbial profiling for the environmental and water treatment sectors, and continues to maintain the Company at the forefront of this sector.
Kai Woloshyn is Vice President Strategic Projects of Ensero with fifteen years’ experience, providing management and direction of Ensero’s key projects. Kai has successfully project managed and been the technical lead for numerous baseline studies, environmental impact assessments, regulatory permitting & licensing projects and lead First Nation & stakeholder engagement within Northern Canada. His work experience has focused in leading multi-disciplinary teams in support of environmental assessments and permitting processes for Yukon and British Columbia mining projects. Kai has also lead the development of a number of Reclamation and Closure Plans for active and abandoned mines.
